A Giant Grand Slam

Hello guys..It's 9 o'clock in the morning. I've just finished watching another epic 2009 Grand Slam final between the King Federer vs The Gigantic Del Po.


History chaser Roger Federer try to become the 1st man to win the US Open 6th straight time since the big Bill Tilden, while Del Po in his quest to be the 2nd man from South America to win this Major. Yeah, both players are fantastic through out the tournament. There are so much hyped about Andy Murray to win this tournament. In the end, he lost at 4th round to Marin Cilic. After Murray's out of this tournament, people expect Federer-Nadal final. But, Del Po make us all wrong with the demolition win against the no 3 seed. Nadal was outplay,outclass and in a harsh word he being humilated by Del Po. So that's how he get to the final. For Federer,the path is much EASY (for him). Lleyton Hewitt,Robin Soderling and Novak Djokovic, they are all a fantastic player. But Federer make it look easy to beat them.

As in final,the match is full of drama. Both players trading a good stroke and volley.And...and...and....( I dont want to describe in details because I still shocked with Federer lost).

So as conclusion...

Five set match. Five straight years champion have been dethroned by the 20-years old Argentine. In a spectacular fashion, he keep his tennis in a class of his own. Flat landing forehand, a big serve, and unretunable backhand, Roger Federer really can't keep up with Del Po rhythm. 11 double fault through out the match really give Roger's a tough time. Especially when he serve for his 2nd serve in the 1st point tiebreak 4th set,it cause him the set and the match. RFed really cant find a way to pass this gigantic Del Po. It's his 1st victory over the world Number One. It comes at the right time. Roger maybe exhausted from yesterday late match against the Djoke, but that's not the excuse he will use to describe his lost. Come on Roger, to accept your lost is also a part of making you a great champion. There's no one perfect. You know someday you will be beaten in New York. But you never predict it this early right? The same goes on me.

Congratulation Juan Martin Del Potro! The 2009 Men's single Champions US Open!





I hope one day a MALAYSIAN will win this tournament! But,to be realistic, it's tough right?

Living your life like Roger Federer

September 15th 2009.. Its 1233 pm.. And yet, my eyes still fresh to be in front of my notebook.. It just my way to kill some of my "precious" time to make sure I'm not sleeping while the Genius of tennis make another benchmark in the tennis history... He set a high standard of tennis during this 6 years period.. His forehand is remarkable.. His backhand is artistic.. His serve is outstanding.. His footwork are fantastic.. His...His..His... Yeah..there are too much of good phrases about the man name Roger Federer to be describe with..Winning his 15th Grand Slam back in Wimbledon earlier in July, FEDex march on to his 6th consecutive final in Flushing Meadow.. The tournament where he have OWN for 5 consecutive years back from 2004..


Everythings look so easy when this man in action. He make his winning forehand as easy as u swing the racquet ( in fact it is not!). He serve the ball much more precise than anybody in the tour.He have a lot of confidence in his game more than anybody else. So, what is really the secret in RFed success? Here is a couples of things I can list down about how u can be as successful as he is in our daily life:

1- Stay FOCUS

There's no arguement that Roger Federer is highly focus in tennis. Even with the new born Myla and Charlene, RFed doesnt seem to be distracted by his new role in family as a father. As for us, keep focus in what we do, and keep it going until it done (and successful,of course).



2- First THING first
Roger didn't know that he will be above all the legendary player as the man with the most Major title. Even Pistol Pete doesn't know the unshaved Swiss man that have beat him in the 4th round in All England Club back in 2001 will take over his position as the most Grand Slam winner. If you ask The Mighty Fed (TMF), he also dont know he will be the person he is right now. But he do know how to do it. He make his move step by step. He doesnt rush it. Winning point to point in game, and then a set, a match, a title, a Major and the number 1 ranking. See? U cant take the Number 1 spot suddenly! It has it steps!




3- Control your EMOTION


We know how emotion plays it role in winning and losing in a match. Look how ugly the consequence of emotion meltdown when 11 times Major champions, Serena Williams break his racquet and blame the line judge for her foot fault, it cost her the match point. Roger have been the same way as all the other emotional player before, he broke his racquet a couple of times (including on his defeat to Djokovic early this year). It appears breaking the racquets and let the emotion take control of you doesnt help you win the match. Roger's know that,so he need to be as calm as he is now to win a match and a title.







4- Be FRIENDLY with everyone
Since he is so dominate in tennis, TMF have gathered millions of fans from all over the world. As also an enemy(which is jealous with his achievement). The way he pronounced his words, the manner he treat his fans is adorable. He is so FRIENDLY and good when in comes to communicate with people. Even the Press love to have a session with him. With this attitude, he make himself as the people favourite. People keeps cheering for him whenever and wherever his play.
